The baby grew. He grew and he grew and he grew. He grew until he was two years old, and he ran all around the house. He pulled all the books off the shelves. He pulled all the food out of the refrigerator and he took his mother's watch and flushed it down the toilet. Sometimes his mother would say, "this kid is driving me CRAZY!"

But at night time, when that two-year-old was quiet, she opened the door to his room, crawled across the floor, looked up over the side of his bed; and if he was really asleep she picked him up and rocked him back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. While she rocked him she sang:

But sometimes on dark nights the mother got into her car and drove across town. If all the lights in her son's house were out, she opened his bedroom window, crawled across the floor, and looked up over the side of his bed. If that great big man was really asleep she picked him up and rocked him back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. And while she rocked him she sang:

I'll like you for always,

As long as I'm living

my baby you'll be.

Well, that mother, she got older. She got older and older and older. One day she called up her son and said, "You'd better come see me because I'm very old and sick." So her son came to see her. When he came in the door she tried to sing the song. She sang:

I'll like you for always...

But she couldn't finish because she was too old and sick. The son went to his mother. He picked her up and rocked her back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. And he sang this song:

I'll love you forever,

I'll like you for always,

As long as I'm living

my Mommy you'll be.

When the son came home that night, he stood for a long time at the top of the stairs. Then he went into the room where his very new baby daughter was sleeping. He picked her up in his arms and very slowly rocked her back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. And while he rocked her he sang:

After collecting tutorials from internet, I finally made my own Avatar character using Adobe Photoshop... yeah I did it!

I'm using Papyrus font, I haven't download The Avatar font. I add thick eyelashes, tribal brushes and leather texture to my face to make it avatar-like. Gee! I love the result.

The Spider is an ancient symbol of mystery, power and growth.

Just as the Spider weaves a web, so too must we weave our own lives. The Spider symbol meaning here serves as a reminder that our choices construct our lives. When the Spider appears to us, it is a message to be mindful of the choices we are making - and ask ourselves:

Arachne took the dosage hard, and could not live with the intense feelings of guilt and sorrow so she killed herself. Athena felt awful over the whole mess and decided to resurrect Arachne in the form of a spider so that she and all her offspring would forever be the best weavers of the universe.

I know, I know... this is a bit out of the box (yeah this is gallery blog), but I would like to share one recipe that I got from my colleague. We called it "Kue Barongko Pisang". My father come from Makassar, so I guess I must learn a lil bit about his culture, rite...

So here's the recipe, happy cooking!

Kue Barongko Pisang

Bahan-bahan:

Pisang Kepok Kuning [2 Sisir]

Kelapa [1 ½ Butir (Santan perasan pertama 3 gelas belimbing)]

Susu Kental Manis [½ Kaleng]

Telur [5 Butir]

Vanili [½ SdT]

Gula Pasir [½ Gelas]

Garam [1 SdT]

Terigu Segitiga Biru [1 Gelas]

Daun untuk membungkus / Daun Pisang (Daun Muda)

Cara membuat:

Kupas pisang lalu sisir dengan pisau bagian dagingnya saja, tengahnya di buang, lalu blender bersama santan 2 gelas hingga halus.

Tuangkan ke dalam mangkuk besar, tambahkan gula , telur, susu dan vanili lalu dikocok dengan mixer dengan kecepatan sedang sampai tercampur rata.

Tambahkan sisa santan dan garam sambil dikocok dan terakhir masukkan terigu sediikit demi sedikit hingga habis dan terkocok rata.

Siapkan daun untuk membungkus. Bungkus satu persatu setelah itu dikukus selama 15 menit.

Since everybody migrated to Facebook, Friendster spoiled... :D and it did happen also to me. Suddenly I became oh-so-much-addicted to FB. No I don't have any 3G mobile phone, I don't go on FB via Blackberry or whatever... I'm just sitting here at the office, waiting for the red notification on the right botton of the screen of my PC appears.

That also sound pretty funny that I design scrapbooks in order to upload them to FB at once.

Do you read FB terms of use? Well, I heard the new one is suck, but they changed it to the old one, since everybody got mad with the point that FB is free to use our profile, picture for they own purpose. Oh good, that's a shitty thing...

So, last saturday we just got Jazzy back from my Mama's house in Depok. Hard thing to do (for Mama of course), but yes, this is the best option since we're missed her badly.

Before we're going home, we took some pictures:

But yesterday she was so sensitive. She wanted to be carried, well, we ignored her. We don't want her to be so much spoiled. She cried for almost 2 hours at night. Actually, it broke my heart.
